Invitation to a walk-home meeting on November 6, 2025: Workplace harassment

As is tradition, we invite you to a walk-home meeting with employment law on the agenda. This time the focus is on abusive behavior in a broad sense. The meeting is on Thursday, November 6, 2025, 2:00 PM-5:00 PM.
In a work environment law context, abusive acts are a collective term for bullying, sexual harassment and other types of abuse committed by colleagues and managers. The Working Environment Act obliges an employer to ensure a fully responsible, healthy and safe psychological working environment. According to the Equal Treatment Act, an employer must provide a harassment-free environment for employees.
An employer’s unjustified use of control measures and discrimination against employees also constitutes abusive conduct.
We look at requirements and recommendations for preventing and handling unwanted and offensive actions in the workplace, and inspiration is provided for behavioral regulation initiatives and policies.
We also look at various examples of employers violating employees’ rights and the consequences thereof.
Finally, there will be time to discuss examples of employment law “innovations”, such as initiatives targeting employees in menopause.
